Starlink is also a solid primary connection for rural offices, job-site trailers, farms, and shops where the only alternative is DSL.
Automatic failover
Your firewall watches the primary connection. When it fails, traffic moves to Starlink within seconds. Card terminals, VoIP phones, and cloud apps keep working. When fiber comes back, it switches home.
Failover can be built with Starlink, a second wired ISP, or an LTE/5G modem, depending on what's available at your address and how much downtime costs you.
